Curio is an online streaming service that provides access to a wealth of CBC audio and video content, including news reports, documentaries, interviews, and more. The service is beneficial for instructors who may be looking to tie lessons to current and historical events, and beneficial for students who may be looking to add quality educational material to their presentations and assignments.
The site is easy to browse, as it’s divided into seven main subject categories:
  • Arts
  • Business
  • Education
  • Health
  • History and Geography
  • Science
  • Social Sciences

The site can also be searched for specific programs or keywords/themes and searches can be limited to age group, format, or subject matter.
CBC Curio contains no advertisements and provides SAIT students and faculty instant access to high definition Canadian content on their desktops or mobile devices.

What are you waiting for? Check it out for yourself on the CBC Curio site.
